The Vale of Avon annual barbecue is the kind of event at which aprons become regalia and everyone suddenly has a view on the correct treatment of a sausage.
Our chef and his little helper kept the assembled company well fed. Despite the international theme, no wallaby or emu appeared on the menu—at least, not under its own name.
A happy afternoon of families, friends and the sort of camaraderie that happens away from the formal meeting.
